Rebecca "Beckie" Peterson

Mrs. Rebecca “Beckie” Peterson, age 66, of Conyers, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021.  She is preceded in death by her beloved father, John E. Knowles of Bonaire, Ga.  Beckie is survived by Johnny F. Peterson Jr. (husband of 49 years), three children, Johnny F. Peterson III, Kimberly L. Rendle and Cassandra Kare, Nadine T. Knowles (mother), Linda Montague (sister) and Jana Hutchinson (sister), ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.

Beckie retired from the state of Georgia and found a love and talent for painting.  Although she resided in Rockdale County for 37 years, Bonaire, Ga is her home.  She graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1972.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network. https://bcan.org.  A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Family Life Center at Bonaire First Baptist Church, 142 SR 96 E. As of April 8, 2021, Governor Brian Kemp has lifted the restrictions for large gatherings and other recommendations throughout Georgia.  However, we ask that you still be respectful of the family and others during this time.
