Obituary

Mr. Richard Joseph Fricke, age 74, of Covington passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Joseph and Hazel Fricke on April 20, 1948. Mr. Fricke grew up in Brookhaven, Georgia. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Fricke retired from Equifax. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nine grandchildren. Mr. Fricke was an avid golfer and spent many days playing and working at Ashton Hills. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Hazel Fricke.

Mr. Fricke is survived by his loving wife of almost 30 years, Teresa Fricke. His children Cole Fricke (Lisa), Jonathan Fricke (Jessica), Lesa Clark (Brett) and Mac Ellis. His grandchildren Addisyn, Cole and Layland Fricke, Jack and Charlee Fricke, Presley and James Womack, Grayson and Sydney Ellis. Along with a host of other family and friends.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Fricke will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with Reverend Leah Cunningham officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Fricke’s memory to the Alpha 1 Foundation at www.Alpha1.org or to Maximus Janton Foundation at www.Maximusjantonfoundation.org. J.C.
