Richard Allen Potts

Mr. Richard Allen Potts, age 79, of Covington formerly of Bristol, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023.  He was born in Bristol on February 1, 1944 to Edgar Fred and Julia Simmons Potts who have preceded him in death.  Mr. Potts served in the United States Army Reserves, he was a Master Mason and Shriner, and was retired from Eastman Kodak Company.  He enjoyed fishing, he was an avid reader, a Tennessee Vols fan, and a baseball fan, but his true joy came from being with his family.  Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Saundra Feagins Potts.

Mr. Potts is survived by his daughter Robyn Potts of Covington, his son Kenneth Clay Potts of Kingsport, TN; his grandchildren Ryan, Myranda, Drew, and Gabi; his great grandchild Stella; along with many other family members and close friends.  Private services will be held in Tennessee at a later date.
