Robert Dean Obituary

Mr. Robert Dean, age 91, of Covington passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020. He was born in Porterdale on November 16, 1928. Robert attended Porterdale High School and served in the United States Army. He worked for Covington Furniture Company and Cowan and Cowan Appliance. Mr. Dean enjoyed fishing and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He was preceded in death by his first wife Jackie Dean.

Mr. Dean is survived by his wife Peggy Haynes Dean, his sons Larry Dean of Covington, and David Dean and his wife Mi of Korea, his grandchildren Ron Owens, Terri Batchelor, Valerie Dean Cloud, J.J. Dean, Brian Dean, and Jackie Dean Weimerskirk, 12 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
