Russell Wallace

Mr. Russell Wallace, age 60, of Jackson passed away Monday, June 27, 2022.  He was born September 5, 1961 in Winder and grew up in Lithonia where he graduated from Lithonia High School in 1980.  Mr. Wallace worked as an equipment technician for QuikTrip for 24 years.  He loved NASCAR, camping, and spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren.  Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his father John Wallace, his grandmother Lona Mae Wallace, and his aunt Connie McDaniel.  He is survived by his wife Cindy Wallace; his daughter Christie Colburn of Covington; his son and daughter-in-law Jason and Cari Wallace of Jackson; his grandchildren Parker, Jase, Rhett, and Nash; his mother and step father Dorothy and Bobby Chamblee of Lithonia; his brother Scott Chamblee of Lithonia; along with numerous other family members and close friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Wallace will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating.  Interment will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 12:00PM prior to the service of Thursday.
