Ruth K. (Kimble) Curtis

Mrs. Ruth K. “Ms. Ruth” Curtis, age 96, of Oxford passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020.  She was born June 14, 1923 in Oxford to John Wesley and Etta Eubanks Kimble who have preceded her in death.  Ms. Ruth was a longtime member of Salem Baptist Church and remained a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church when the churches merged.  She enjoyed flowers and was a florist, working at both Sherwood’s Flowers and Gifts and Covington Flower Shop. Mrs. Curtis was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Theron Curtis.  She is survived by her daughter Louise Gilbert of Oxford, her brother Donald R. Kimble of Loganville, along with several nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
