Obituary

Mr. Salvador (Sam) Traina, Jr., 75 of Mansfield, GA passed away at his home on August 13, 2023. Mr. Traina was born September 16, 1947 in Tampa, FL to Salvadore and Onelia Perdomo Traina who have preceded him in death. Mr. Traina was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was a professional musician, artist, songwriter and art teacher. Together he and his wife owned and operated Keynote Music in Conyers for 20 years. Mr. Traina was also the owner of STS Systems and installed music systems in churches all over the state. He was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Eagles Drive in Covington, GA.

Mr. Traina is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Lyla Traina; his children David (Jen) Traina, Sara (Joe) Sims and Keia (Michael) Parker; 9 grandchildren, along with many other family members and close friends. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Traina at 4 o’clock on September 9, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Eagles Drive in Covington, GA.
