Mrs. Sandra Jeanette Myrick passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on October 19, 1966, Sandra's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and the joy of embracing every moment.
Sandra was predeceased by her devoted husband of 17 years, Roy Pierce Myrick, Jr., her beloved parents, John Henry and Nancy Boozer, her cherished sister Kathy Howard, her brother-in-law Mike Alexander, and her dear niece Monica Alexander. Her memory will live on through her adoring children, Jason Myrick, Christopher Myrick, Russell Myrick, Morgan Sneed, and her adopted daughter Ariel Stowe, along with her son-in-law Derrick. She was a proud grandmother to Aiden, Gavin, and Dawson Stowe, whose lives were brightened by her unwavering love and support.
She leaves behind her caring sisters, Martha Alexander and Evelyn Persall, and her brother-in-law Wesley, who will miss her deeply. Her nephew Micheal Alexander, with his wife Dwan, and her nieces Lisa Baldauf, with her husband Mike, and Tonya Arnold, with her husband Matt, will cherish the countless memories of Sandra's warmth and generosity.
Sandra's zest for life was infectious. She had the remarkable ability to make every person she met feel like a lifelong friend, embodying the true spirit of never meeting a stranger. Sandra's inclusive nature ensured that no one was ever left out, and her kindness touched the lives of many.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Sandra found peace and joy in camping, often surrounded by the laughter of her family and friends. Her love for Mexican food was only matched by her passion for her flock of chickens, which she cared for with as much love as she did for her own family.
In quieter moments, Sandra could be found crocheting beautiful creations, a skill that was both a pastime and a gesture of love, as she gifted her work to those she cared about. Online puzzles were another favorite hobby, providing her with hours of entertainment and a way to keep her mind sharp.
Sandra's legacy is one of love, compassion, and the simple joy of living. Her life was a beautiful patchwork of the people she loved, the friendships she nurtured, and the kindness she spread effortlessly. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date. J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
