Sandra Jean (Kenny) Roseberry

Mrs. Sandra Roseberry, age 77, of Oxford passed away Friday, August 27, 2021.  She was extremely proud to have been born on Flag Day, June 14, 1944.  Mrs. Roseberry grew up in Clarkston and graduated from Clarkston High School.  She was a strong, faithful Christian. Sandra filled her life with the things, activities, and people that she loved. Sandra was a giving and generous person with all that she had and could do. Her gardening, cooking, and sewing not only filled the days of her life but provided her many ways to bless and love her family and friends. 

Mrs. Roseberry was preceded in death by her parents John and Hazel Kenny, her husband Ron Roseberry, and her sister Gail Kephart.  She is survived by her children Douglas and Andrea Smith, Donna Smith, and Jackie Johnson; all residing in Covington, her grandchildren Kelsey and Chris Simmons, Elaina Smith, and Olivia Smith, her great grandson Parker Simmons, her siblings Greg Kenny, Mike Kenny, Sharon Thomas, and Judy Waits, Step-daughters Debbie Kiser and Diane Rutledge along with numerous amounts of dearly loved nieces and nephews, as well as many other family, and close friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday, August 31, 2021in the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00PM until 2:00PM prior to the service.  J.C. As of April 8, 2021, Governor Brian Kemp has lifted the restrictions for large gatherings and other recommendations throughout Georgia.  However, we ask that you still be respectful of the family and others during this time. If you are sick, not feeling well, or have any symptoms of COVID 19, please do not attend the service or services.  If you feel the need to wear a mask, please do so.
