This obituary was lovingly prepared by the family…
Shane Barfield came into this world July 12, 1976 and lived a life full of love, laughter, family & friendship. Shane never met a stranger & made a friend of everyone. At an early age he found a love of heavy equipment & horses. He learned real quick that a "normal job" was not for him so he set out to learn clearing & grading from his PawPaw, T.W. Stewart. For many years they worked side by side, job to job, and moved countless tons of dirt.
Shane always loved the cowboy way and lived by the cowboy life. He loved his Poco and watching his girls race the clock around the barrels. An avid Bulldog fan but his boys on the field was his biggest love & best game ever played. Shane was always the life of any gathering and always down for a good time. He left this world February 21,2025 after his long hard battle against colon cancer surrounded by his family and numerous friends. just how he liked it.
