Changes to Date of Service and Place of Interment

Shane Cox, age 48, of Conyers passed away August 8, 2020.  He was born in Conyers on January 30, 1972 and attended Faith Tabernacle.  Shane loved to sing and had a great voice, he also enjoyed karaoke, he loved to cook.  He went to school at Faith Tabernacle in Conyers and grew up in the Conyers and Covington area.  Shane is survived by his children Alexis Cox of Covington, Carson Cox and Preston Cox both of Rutledge, his mother Shirley White of Conyers, his granddaughter Journee Cox, his sisters Carrie Cox, Raquel Kitchens, and Cassandra Jett along with a host of other family and close friends.

Graveside services for Mr. Cox will be held at 2 o’clock Monday, August 24, 2020 at New Covington Cemetery with Reverend Michael Patterson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service of Monday.  J.C. Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed.  There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend the service.  Please be respectful of the family during this difficult time and follow the requirements of the CDC.
