Shane Dillon Griffith, age 32 of Covington, passed away May 30, 2024.  He was born February 8, 1992 in Covington and graduated from Jasper County High School.  Shane was a loving son with a heart of gold.  He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping.  He enjoyed playing volleyball and watching University of Georgia football with his grandfather, whom he loved dearly.

Shane is preceded in death by his grandfather, Clifford Jack Pace.  He is survived by his parents Tonya and Robert Herndon of Covington; his sister Cadee Maree Ellis and her husband T.J. and his brother James Robert Herndon.

Graveside services for Shane will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, Covington, GA  30014.
