Sherri M. Hernandez

Ms. Sherri M. Hernandez, age 56, of Covington passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023.  She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 10, 1966 to David Anthony Hernandez, Sr and Barbara Mayes Hernandez who have preceded her in death.  Ms. Hernandez was a wonderful caregiver, who loved caring for others, as she worked in nursing homes and doctor’s offices in Covington and Conyers.  She was a true “Champion” during her tremendous battle with cancer.  A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, well known throughout her community, she will be missed by all that knew her. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother David Anthony Hernandez, Jr. Ms. Hernandez is survived by her children Brittani Hernandez and Trent Hernandez both of Covington; her grandchildren Jaxon Hernandez, Jayce Hernandez and Jaden Hernandez; her sisters Michelle Sharp of Nebraska and Yvonne Monk of Fort Collins, Colorado along with other family members and many close friends.
