Sherry Walker Bell, known lovingly to family and friends as Sherry, passed away on April 27, 2026, in Covington, Georgia, at the age of 60.
Born on December 26, 1965, in Atlanta, Georgia, Sherry lived a life marked by laughter, and a genuine love for having a good time. She carried herself with a spirited personality, and a way of making those around her feel welcome. Sherry will be remembered for the joy she brought into everyday moments and for the lasting impression she left on the people who knew and loved her.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe Walker, her mother, Kathy Stefanik, and her brother, Phillip Barker. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life, and she held her family bonds with deep love and devotion. She is survived by her daughter, Misty Sullivan and her husband Jake; her grandchildren, Tristan Cole, Kelbie Cole, and Raylan Sullivan; her brother, Robert Barker and his wife Darlene; her sisters, Gail Martin and her husband Bobby, and Lilly Brown and her husband Mike; and her nieces and nephews, Joseph, Corey, Brian, Jason, Andrea, Danielle and her husband Chris, Steven, and Jonathan. She is also survived by her great nieces, Cayleigh, Krislyn, Kaitlyn, and Kenzley.
Among those who will cherish her memory is her longtime friend, Katie Armbruster, whose friendship was a meaningful part of Sherry’s life. Sherry valued the relationships she built and the people she kept close, and she will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and friends alike.
Sherry’s life was one of connection, laughter, and treasured memories. She had a gift for enjoying life and encouraging others to do the same, and her presence brought comfort and happiness to many. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her memory will continue to be a source of strength and fond remembrance.
