Shiela (Snider) Hickman

Mrs. Shiela Hickman, age 67, of Covington passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023.  She was born June 5, 1956 in Atlanta to Edward and Louise Snider who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Hickman worked for Shoney’s restaurants as a server for many years.  She enjoyed watching cooking shows, doing word searches, and spending time with her family who she loved very much.  Mrs. Hickman was a member of The Pentecostals Church of McDonough.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Jeanette Chapman, and her brother Edward Snider, Jr. 

Mrs. Hickman is survived by her husband Lester Hickman; her children Lisa Scott (Daniel), Les Hickman (Jamie), Beth Scott (Thomas), and Kattie Tollisen; her grandchildren Tyra Hickman (Josh Freeman), Brandon Scott, Jordan Hickman, Casey Hickman, Alyisa Scott, Stefany Scott, Mandy Scott, Addy Scott, and Riley Scott; her great grandchildren Cameron Nolin, Abigial Freeman, Everly Tollisen, and Autumn Freeman; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hickman will be held at 12 o’clock Friday, November 10, 2023 at the Chapel of J. C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Harvey officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Friday prior to the service.  J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements.
