Shirley A (Williams) Qualls

Mrs. Shirley A. Qualls, age 71, of Covington passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023.  She was born January 11, 1952, in Lithonia to Clarence and Sybil Summerour Williams who have preceded her in death.  Shirley enjoyed the outdoors, especially lakes and rivers, and loved all nature.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, sitting by the fire, birds and her dog “Lila”.  Shirley is survived by children Shane Sorrows, Jeremey Sorrows, Jeffrie Nelson (Angela), Jennifer Nelson (James), and Ricky Qualls (Haley); her grandchildren Jacob, Kayla, Kenzie, Braycen, Jayden, Dylan, Chance, Ashley, Levi, Izach, Wesley, Hazel, Annalee and Hailee; her great grandchild Maverick James; her brothers Larry Williams (Alice), Gerald Williams (Brenda), and Ronnie Williams; along with numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.  J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home-TE Davis Funeral Services, Inc has been entrusted with these services.
