Mrs. Sondra Bryan, age 83, of McDonough passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024. She was born in Lillie, Louisiana on November 20, 1940 to Charlie and Sallie Miller who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Bryan grew up in Lillie and moved to the Atlanta area where she met and married her husband Ronnie Bryan who has also preceded in death. She worked as a bookkeeper and was employed by Embassy Suites. Mrs. Bryan loved her family very much and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great granddaughter. She had a standing order with her family that anytime they went to Burger King they had to bring her a Whopper and an ice cream. Along with her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her 8 siblings.
Mrs. Bryan is survived by her daughters Michelle Redlinger (Jack) of McDonough and Kym Hodge of Oklahoma; her grandchildren Amber Redlinger Estes (Kyle), Ashlynd Redlinger (Brock Boldin), Makenna Hodge, and Preston Hodge; her great granddaughter Ava Jane Estes; her special nephew Mike Miller (Laura) and their sons Jonathan and Chris; along with numerous other family members and many close friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bryan will be held at 1 o’clock Monday, March 11 2024 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating, Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday prior to the service.
