Tammie L. (Sullivan) Johnson

Mrs. Tammie L. Johnson, age 58, of Covington, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was born October 9, 1962 to Edward and Louise Sullivan.  Her father, Edward has preceded her in death.  Mrs. Johnson grew up in Columbus, Ohio.  She graduated from Independence Senior High School, where she met her husband David Johnson.  David and Tammie celebrated forty wonderful years of marriage last July.

Mrs. Johnson was the heart of her family, as family was everything to her.  She was a strong, caring, spunky, wild child, who enjoyed life.  She loved listening to 80’s music and playing with her grandchildren, as well as her two chihuahuas.  Mrs. Johnson loved primping and getting her nails done. 

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband David Johnson; her mother Louise Sullivan; her children Jeremy Johnson (Tagan), Cody Johnson and Summer Diebel; her grandchildren Austin White, Alicia White, Terrance Brannon and Alexander Brannon; her sister Kimberly Hancock; her brother Johnathan Sullivan, as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Johnson will be held at 11 o’clock on Saturday, April 3, 2021 in the Chapel of J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home with interment to follow at New Covington City Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, April 2, 2021 from 6 pm to 8 pm at J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home.

Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed.  There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend the service.  Please be respectful of the family during this difficult time and follow the requirements of the CDC.
