Tim Blankenship

Tim Blankenship, age 62, of Social Circle passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020.  He was born in Covington on March 6, 1958 to Elmer Hoke and Maxine Blankenship who have preceded him in death.  Tim grew up in Covington and graduated from Newton County High School.  He enjoyed going out to eat, going to NASCAR races, traveling to Florida with his parents, and he loved his nieces and nephews very much.  Mr. Blankenship is survived by his brothers Hoke Blankenship, Jr (Connie), and Trent Blankenship, his best friend Mark Sullivan, his nieces and nephews Shane and Tammy Blankenship, Crystal Blankenship, and Bryan Blankenship his great nieces and nephew Kobie Wright, Jordan Reed, and Savannah Blankenship along with a host of other family and friends.  A private graveside services will be held.  J.C. Due to the COVID 19/Coronavirus Pandemic all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) requirements will be followed.  There is a limit of 50 people at any large gathering, social distancing must be recognized, the use of mask is encouraged, and most importantly if you feel sick or have any symptoms of COVID 19 you will not be allowed to attend the service.  Please be respectful of the family during this difficult time and follow the requirements of the CDC.
