Tim Rutledge

Tim Rutledge, age 56, of Covington passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was born in Covington on October 2, 1967 and grew up in Covington, Monroe, and Oxford.  Mr. Rutledge attended Newton County Comprehensive High School and Monroe Area High School.  He enjoyed working on his car, cooking, making people smile, and loved spending time with his grandbabies. Tim was preceded in death by his sister Tammy Jo McLaughlin.

Tim is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Timmy and LeAnn Rutledge of Villa Rica; his daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Bo Pollett of Shady Dale; his grandchildren Deanna, Hunter, and Chevy; his mother Jo Rutledge of Covington; his father and step mother Floyd and Kitty Rutledge of Covington; his half sister Ivy Ingram; his brother-in-law Tony McLaughlin; along with numerous other family members and many close friends.  No services are planned at this time.
