Timmy Price

Mr. Timmy Price, age 58, of Covington passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021.  He was born August 28, 1963 in Atlanta and grew up in Covington.  Timmy attended Newton County Comprehensive High School.  He worked in the construction field and was a great blacksmith who loved making knives.  He loved a good conversation, a cold beer, and spending time with his family.  Timmy was preceded in death by his father Hugh Price and his sister Retter Price Bailey.  He is survived by his wife Kandy Price, his sons Shea Price (Kayla) and Trea Price (Tiffany), his grandchildren Hayvin, Avalea, Madyx, Rowdy, Shiloh, Willow, Waylon, and Walker, his mother Juritta Price, his siblings Randy Price, Gary Price (Sherry), Gayle Price Walden (Ricky), and Tammy Price Holder (Hank), his in-laws Larry and Sandra Walden of Covington, and his brother-in-law Jody Walden (Rosalyn) of Covington, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Timmy will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Julia A. Porter United Methodist Church with Reverend Ricky Walden and Reverend Ben Ogletree officiating.  The family will receive friends at J.C. As of April 8, 2021, Governor Brian Kemp has lifted the restrictions for large gatherings and other recommendations throughout Georgia.  However, we ask that you still be respectful of the family and others during this time. If you are sick, not feeling well, or have any symptoms of COVID 19, please do not attend the service or services.  If you feel the need to wear a mask, please do so.
