Tony Fox

Mr. Tony Fox, age 83, of Covington, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026. Born on April 21, 1942, in Porterdale, Tony was the beloved son of Robert and Nellie Fox, who preceded him in death. A proud professional piddler, Tony was known for his resourcefulness and his remarkable ability to work on anything, always lending a helping hand to those in need.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his brothers Gene, Jimmy, and Larry; his sisters June, Joan, and Marilyn; and his cherished daughter Tracy Jane Fox Autry. He leaves behind his devoted wife Marcia; his children Dale Fox and Gail Walden (Jerald); stepchildren Lasha Bass and Philip Lowe; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; his brother-in-law Mark Wells (Gwen); and a host of other loving family members and close friends who will deeply miss his presence.

Funeral services honoring Mr. Fox will be held at 11 o’clock on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Michael Patterson officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM prior to the service to pay their respects and celebrate Tony's life and legacy.
