Vicki (Jones) Lundy

Mrs. Vicki Lundy age 51 of Oxford went home to the arms of our holy father Saturday October 26, 2024. She was born December 3,1972 in Lawrenceville, GA. Vicki grew up in Walnut Grove and graduated from Loganville High School. She went to earn her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She enjoyed camping, fishing, playing Yahtzee and target shooting. She loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and other family. She fought a battle that was heroic and inspiring. She touched countless lives throughout her journey. She never wavered in her faith. Her faith, although tested only grew stronger. Vicki is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Jones.

Vicki is survived by her husband of 25 years, Dennis Lundy; children, Amber Boyd (Greg), Ashley Lundy (Michael Brown), Courtney Jones, Jeffrey Lundy (Alyssa); grandchildren, Kayla, Corbin, Dawson, Walker, Autumn, Lola, and Eli; mother, Bertie Jones; mother-in-law, Karen Lundy; siblings, Derick Jones, Brian Jones, and Steve Jones, several nieces, nephews, and extended family and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday, November 1, 2024 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Sorrells officiating.  Interment will follow at Oxford Historical Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday prior to the service.
