Mrs. Vickie Farrow, age 76, of Covington passed away Friday, February 7, 2025. She was born in Covington on December 31, 1948 to James and Vivian Treadwell who have preceded her in death. Mrs. Farrow grew up in Covington and attended Newton County High School. While she was growing up Vickie attended The Baptist Tabernacle and later attended Shiloh Methodist Church with her husband Jackie and their sons. She was a wonderful homemaker and caregiver for her family and loved her grandchildren very much. Mrs. Farrow enjoyed shopping and decorating her home. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jackie Farrow, and her brother Jimmy Treadwell.
Mrs. Farrow is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Todd and Mandy Farrow of Covington, and Dale and Shanan Farrow of Jacksonville, Florida; her grandchildren Carly Cranford (Klay), Courtney Dickinson (Bailey), Jack Farrow, Finn Farrow, and Coen Farrow; great grandchildren Axel, Lane, and Mason Ann; and her long-time companion Bob Watts; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many close friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Farrow will be held at 2 o’clock Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shiloh Church Cemetery in Covington. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service on Sunday.
