Vickie Lynn Owens Johnston

Mrs. Vickie Lynn Owens Johnston, age 70, of Covington passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024. She was born on August 26, 1953 in Savannah, Georgia to Bud and Lottie Owens who have both preceded her in death. Mrs. Johnston grew up in Covington, Georgia and was a graduate of Newton County High School. She enjoyed gardening and shopping. Mrs. Johnston loved going to antiques shops, flea markets and estate sales. She was a longtime member of Gaither’s United Methodist Church. Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by her husband Roger Johnston.

Mrs. Johnston is survived by her son Michael Johnston, her granddaughter Angela Johnston, her brother James Owens and his wife Vickie, along with a host of other family and friends. The family will have a private service at a later date. J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with these arrangements
