Virginia Brannon

Mrs. Virginia Brannon completed her earthly journey on May 17, 2025. Born on May 1, 1958, to her late parents Kenneth and Eula Mae Eaton, Virginia's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and the unbridled joy that comes from cherishing the simple pleasures of life.

Virginia's legacy is one of enduring love and commitment, beautifully reflected in her 37-year marriage to her devoted husband, James Brannon. Virginia's pride and joy were her children, Carolyn Williams and her significant other John Whitman, and Jessica Carter and her husband Chris. Her grandson, TJ Goolsby, a proud United States Marine for three years, was a beacon of hope and pride for Virginia, and she cherished every moment spent with him. She was preceded in death by many other family members and is survived by many who will miss her dearly.

A woman of simple tastes and profound pleasures, Virginia had an affinity for the animals, sharing her home with a menagerie of pets over the years. Her heart was as generous as her smile, and she was often found buying candy for the neighborhood children, a small act of kindness that brought immense joy to both giver and receiver. Virginia has a loved for anything peanut butter. Virginia has a free-spirited nature was as much a part of her as her aversion to shoes, preferring to feel the earth beneath her feet.
