William Hood, age 18, of Covington passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018. He was born June 30, 2000 to Misty Hood who has preceded him in death. Will attended Eastside High School where he was a member of the FFA and played the tuba for the high school band. He was also a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was loved by many and had a heart of gold. His family has called him “P-Nut” since he was a baby. Hunting, fishing, kayaking, and visits to the ocean were most of Will’s favorite past times. He loved Ford trucks and was a self-taught guitar and key board player. Most of all Will loved and adored his sister Brittney and Austin Evans who he thought of as a brother. Along with his mother, he was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Grace Hood; grandfather, Thomas “Bud” Hood; and his Uncle Joe. Will is survived by his grandfather who has been a father figure in his life and loved him with his whole heart, Rickie Hood; grandmother, Charlene Barclay; aunt, Heather Hood; uncle, Allen Hood who was also a strong father figure in his life; Godmother, Christal Gray; Godfather, Stuart Gray; along with a host of other family members and close friends.
