Mr. William “Bill” Robertson, age 92 of Mansfield, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Bill was born November 22, 1927 in Glomar, Kentucky to William and Christina Dailey Robertson who have preceded him in death. For 28 years, Mr. Robertson, along with his wife, Helen, owned and operated Robertson Lawnmower Services in Mansfield. He formerly worked for Mobil Chemical Corporation, Red Cross in Atlanta, was a paramedic with Grady Memorial Hospital and also worked for General Motors in Detroit, Michigan. He and his wife are members of Gaithers United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Helen Robertson; his daughter Patricia (Donald) Wellington of Marietta, GA and his son Scott (Luisa) Robertson of Suwanee, GA; grandchildren Staci Burns, Lisa Lewis and Ethan Robertson along with many great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Donald Wellington, Jr.
Funeral Services for Mr. Robertson will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 2 o’clock at Gaithers United Methodist Church with Reverend Andy Parker, Reverend Terry Carter and Reverend Danny Standard officiating.
