Yoshimi Hinton

Mrs. Yoshimi Hinton, age 90, of Covington passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022.  She was born and grew up in Japan.  While living in the Japan Yoshimi met Neal.  Mr. Hinton career moved him to the Philippines where Yoshimi joined him and the two were married on December 21, 1970.  The couple moved to Covington in 1971 and lived a wonderful life together.  Mrs. Hinton worked for Sweetheart Plastics in Conyers retiring after 20 years.  The Hinton’s also attended First Baptist Church of Covington for several years.  Mrs. Hinton is survived by her husband Neal Hinton; along with several nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Monday, June 20, 2022 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Taiun Michael Elliston officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Monday prior to the service.
