Kathryn (Cantrell) White

Mrs. Kathryn White, age 84, of Covington passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024.  She was born February 25, 1940 in Lithonia to Jimmy and Jewell Cantrell who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. White worked at McDonald’s on both Highway 278 and on the bypass near Highway 36 for many years.  She was an Atlanta Braves fan, a Georgia Bulldog fan, and enjoyed music, dancing, Elvis Presley, and loved people.

Along with her parents Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband James White; her grandchildren Deanna Grimes Mattheus, Joyce White, and Keith Grimes; her brother James Cantrell; and her sister Marilyn Gaddis.  She is survived by her children Lewis Webb, Cindy Warren, Robby Webb (Debbie) , Jane White, Bonnie Anglin (Michael); her numerous grandchildren; her many great grandchildren; her sister Janette Anderson of Rome along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many close friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. White will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Adams officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM of Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
