Mr. Boyd Weathington, age 87, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024. He was born June 1, 1936 in Douglasville, Georgia to Alton and Eva Weathington who have preceded him in death. Mr. Weathington grew up in Douglasville and graduated from Douglas County High School. He served from 1954 to 1957 in the United States Air Force and was a longtime employee of Roadway Express. Mr. Weathington enjoyed woodworking and could build anything. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Weathington.

Mr. Weathington is survived by his children Randy Weathington (Sina) of Yuma, Arizonia, Ricky Weathington (Toni) of Jackson, Georgia, and Michael Weathington of South Carolina; his grandchildren Brandie Brandon (Bobby), Nicholas Weathington, Josh Rudd (Amy), Teresa Weathington, Christie Thompson (Brian), Angela Boswell (Ben), and Jennifer Cartwright (Andy). He is also survived by several great grandchildren; his brother Glenn Weathington (Martha); numerous other family members, and many close friends. No services are planned at this time.
