Mrs. Judy Wilkerson

Mrs. Judy Wilkerson, age 74, of Loganville passed away Friday, April 26, 2024.  She was born in Atlanta on November 11, 1949 to Ethan and Elizabeth Mitchell who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Wilkerson grew up in Lithonia and was a1967 graduate of Lithonia High School.  She married Tommy Wilkerson shortly after high school and the two have enjoyed over 56 years of life together.  Mrs. Wilkerson was a bus driver for more than 30 years in Walton County and loved watching her boys play football.  She also helped her husband with their family business and was an avid reader.  Nothing made her happier than being with her family, and spending time at the lake.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.  Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Jeff Mitchell.

Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by her husband Tommy Wilkerson; her sons and daughters-in-law Tyson and Lisa Wilkerson of Monticello, and Bryce and Crystal Wilkerson of Social Circle; her grandchildren Amber, Anna, Hannah, Drake, Gage, and Stella; her great grandchild Miguel; her sister-in-law Dorothy Howell and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Edward and Brenda Wilkerson; her very close friends Dallas Eberhardt and Sharon Cato; along with numerous other family members and many close friends.

A Gathering of Friends will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.
