Elaine Alice (Butterfield) Redlinger

Mrs. Elaine Alice Redlinger, age 85, passed away August 19, 2017.  She was born in Trenton, New Jersey on June 18, 1932 to Bertram J. and Anna Champlinsky Butterfield who have preceded her in death.  Mrs. Redlinger served her country in the United States Marine Corps stationed in El Toro, California.  While stationed there she met and married her beloved husband; Capt. Robert Edward Redlinger.  The two were married for 59 years and lived in California, North Carolina and Florida before moving to Georgia.  Mrs. Redlinger enjoyed cooking, baking, bowling, going to the beach and telling stories of her children and grandchildren.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.  Mrs. Redlinger was preceded in death by her daughter; Deborah Redlinger and her husband; Robert Redlinger. 

She is survived by her children; Billy and Laura Redlinger of Hubert, NC, Jack and Michelle Redlinger of McDonough, Patty Jo and Cesar Sanchez of Flovilla and CK and Lama Redlinger of San Diego, her grandchildren; Nicholas and Megan Bell, Kristyn Hall, Teresa and Jason Clark, Adam Redlinger, Amber Redlinger, Ashlynd Redlinger, Stephanie Redlinger, Isabella Redlinger, Tamara Malhas, and Tajeldin Redlinger, her great grandchildren; Sidney Bell, Morgan Bell, Tyson Clark, Lauren Hall, Evan Hall and Ryder Clark her siblings; Richard and Nancy Butterfield and Jean Nolan along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Redlinger will be held at 11 o’clock Monday August 21, 2017 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Chaplin Rex Allen officiating.  Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5pm until 7pm on Sunday August 20, 2017.  J.C.
